"Don't believe other reviews; this unit is awesome."
Pros
Great picture, little to no degradation, lightning-fast response times, 1 ms latency is completely true. Works great if you want to use it to play video games (e.g. PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) VERY satisfied!!
Cons
There's a damn dongle! Who wants that velcro'd to the back of their TV?! Also, the dongle gets warm, no biggie. The main unit gets warm too. Keep ventilated if possible. Only connection types are HDMI and Component.

Now, the other reviews I've read about this product all seem to agree that if you want to slap this in an attic, you might run into some issues. If you expect to be able to put this in a hot attic with walls blocking the signal, you aren't going to get a good signal, period. This goes with anything. Heat makes electronics not work well, so if the unit gets hot, your definition will decrease (a little). If you put it where several walls block the source, you will have more dropped packets. My unit is in the same room as the TV in a shelf on an end table about 15 feet away and I still get full signal with perfect definition. This tells me that other reviewers are shooting for the moon with their setups. Let's be reasonable. No one else is doing Wireless HD! This is an early-adopter unit.
Taking that into consideration, this unit is amazing! I've never seen a first-gen product work this well! I was REALLY nervous about the purchase of this hub as there are very few specs online, and no real mention of expected latency or definition. I'm here to tell you that you CAN hook up a video game console and expect high definition and have no delay between your controller input and the television output.
Also, this unit works instantly. No setup required; just plug it in and go. It even interfaces with the existing LG TV remote. I haven't used the infrared repeater cord, but I don't need to since all my components connected to the hub operate using bluetooth signals.
I have an antenna as well, which stumped me for a while, but then I realized that I could plug the antenna's coaxial cable directly into my mac mini with my EyeTV hybrid. The mac mini has a built-in tuner and DVR functionality. Add a slingbox at your friend's house and get cable channels for free too. The lack of a coax input might be a problem for some though, so it's worth mentioning.
The unit gets warm and I've noticed from placing it around in different locations that if the unit is far away and gets too hot, the signal will degrade accordingly to compensate. But, again, I only noticed this when testing the unit's limits, which are reasonable.
The vents are located on the side and bottom, so if you want to get optimum heat dispersal, prop the base unit up a little. I did, but only because my unit is tucked inside a tight shelf where there is low air volume/flow.
Overall, I am VERY satisfied with this product! Definitely recommend.

Remain impressed with unit. Picture quality is great, gaming is spot-on. The main unit stays cool all day long, even confined in my tight cabinet. The dongle gets warm however; about 100ºF. I've had the signal drop out on me a total of 3 times, each time with warning. The screen deteriorates into a "The Matrix"-style code; it's really kinda cool to see, but not at the cost of your viewing. Cause of the drop is really unknown, and quite frustrating when in the middle of a game. The picture drops out for a mere second or two. It's only happened 3 times over the course of a month though, so it isn't that bad. The amount of artifacts seem to become more noticeable when the dongle gets hot, but I've really only noticed the artifacts on fast-moving action in video games.
Overall, still very satisfied and would still recommend this item.
