"Very Fast PC but not perfect" on by takemout
Pros: Fast and plenty of RAM
Cons: Medicore Graphic Card
Summary: This is the fastest PC that I have ever owned. The internet is even faster on this computer. I love the AMD processor, I believe it is the best bang for the buck. I may add a $150 graphics card to make this a perfect PC.

Pros: Good 'bang for the buck'. Balanced set of components for good quality Vista experience.
Cons: May wish it had more grpahics power for gaming apps.
Summary: Bought the HP a6230n for $699 at Micro Center (Oct 16th) - and there's a mail-in $50 rebate from HP.

"when playing games it locks up all the time" on by kduke1977
Pros: Alot faster then the old Dell I had
Cons: locks up when I play games
Summary: I got the pc cuz Bestbuy didnt have the one I wonted in stock. Got a highend Vido card, for my games. Thinking I have a good PC to play my games faster, Im ready to go. Well the game plays about 5 times faster but it will lock up. I half to power down and start over. If you dont save your games every 10 min you may loose everything you have done. If you are think about buying this pc for playing games DO NOT DO IT!!!! Dont know if it is a vista proublem or a HP proublem? Everyone I talk to wonts to point the finger at the other person. In all stay away forom this PC!!!!

"EXCELLENT computer" on by stanley4756
Pros: Best computer purchased so far in all my years.
Cons: haven't found any so far!!
Summary: This computer is the best computer I have ever purchased. Very fast, very quiet, plenty of room for memory. ALL of my products are Hewlett Packard products -- it's an "all win" situation.

"Awesome all-around PC" on by MoonLoaf
Pros: Fast processors, plenty of RAM, big hard drive.
Cons: Wussy graphics card, little expansion room.
Summary: I got this PC for Christmas. It is an excellent PC for all-around computing tasks. The dual-core processors make multi-tasking easy and theres plenty of storage space on the 400GB hard drive. However the on board 6150 SE graphics are too weak to play any of the newest games, so I added a nVidia geForce 8600 GT 512MB video card. It cost me $129 but I can now play all the latest games with excellent quality.
