Pros: Looks good. Specs are great for its price,
Cons: But bad product with no service support.
Summary: Most Acer products are cheap hence quality is really poor. Aspire 4720 has great specs for its price; hence it turned out to be very poor quality products. In fact, it has a design flaw. While using this product screen turns white and user cannot do any thing. You loose all the work and only option is to cold power off.
Acer has not been to resolve this issue and the service is very poor. Acer has lots of issues with service.
Hence even if price looks very attractive do not buy Acer products because you would be left high and dry, without any support.
They have many hidden and anti-customer terms and conditions on their site regarding warranty.
Do not touch Acer laptops.

Pros: Price... really cheap (too much?)
Cons: It hangs continuously. The wifi network manager hangs when you change from one network to another. After hibernation... you just can restart it... you have to press power button and shutwdown.
Summary: It is nice laptop when is working...
I have expecienced lot of problems with it. I have lost time and many works when it enters in hibernation due to inactivity for some minutes or just because i set it in that status.
When you press shutdown button... be sure you have enough time to wait sometimes for 20 or 30 minutes till it realy shutsdown.
I upload all drivers for it at the acer page... nothing. I called Acer warranty services... they recommended to reinstall windows... the same.
I don´t recommend it and even discourage any one to buy it.
It is now in the technical services of Acer, which is another bad service of Acer... they just turn on and shut it down and then say it is working... Hey try it for a reasonable working period... and you will see...
It happens day after day and about 3 sutdowns a day...

Pros: The best things about the laptop is well at times it is quite fast and it loads very quick
Cons: this laptop has a lot of bad things, the hinges break easily i had mine for 6months treated it well and they broke, the keys come out easily, battery power is rubbish had to replace mine after 9months because it started to run out after 1hour
Summary: Overall the good things of the laptop are well overpowered by the bad side of this laptop i mean the screen is small, the battery needs replacing very quickly and the main problem is that the hinges break so very easily i mean i treat my computers fine and after six months one of them just snaps costing me 20pounds to fix... I mean come on acer im definetly sure you can do better than this.
Therefore if you are thinking about buying this laptop in my opinion i would re-consider your choice because there are many better laptops out there that are possibly cheaper and better -

Cons: its worth to use by its price... except from its weight, its the perfect laptop after replacing the 9 cell battery....

Pros: Only things that is good about this laptop is it's cheaper than average.
Cons: The hinges supporting the screen breaks easily. The hard drive failed the first day of use. Screen develop flickering that become worse over time
