Summary: The Design is like the saying "like no other".
Stamina Battery lasts twice other lithium-ion batteries.
The button set is strange, but when I get used to, it makes me fell like I am driving the player rather than I am controlling it.
OLED is pretty, but like other LCD displays, it cannot display well under the sunlight.
Sonic Stage help me convert mp3 song to Atrac3 song, this is the best audio format right now.
The sound is excellent, and solid. It will be better with high-quality headphone. -

Summary: all in all, the sony nw e505 isnt a bad product, but it does have a few flaws. sonic stage, the program that comes with it, is easy enough. it really doesnt come with any accesories, only a belt clip that doesnt hold on too well, and an extension wire for the headphones, which are ridiculously short aslo a black pouch to carry it in. also, it doesnt display well at all under sunlight. but the sound quality, though, is excellent. the radio is good, but theres better. if ur interested in this product, make sure u get a good deal on the price, because it is a little on the exspensive side considering how low it is on features.

Summary: I preferred to buy the NW-E505 over iPOD for mainly the following reasons.
1) The sound was much truer than what the iPOD produced.
2) Battery lasts 5 times longer than other brands.
3) Inbuilt FM tuner. Very useful in cities that have loads of FM channels.
4) The trendy design gives a cool look to the person wearing the player.
I have already got 10 friends who want to sell their iShuffles for the NW-E505!! -

Summary: Overall the NW-E505 is one of the best players that I have ever owned. It has an attractive style, sleek casing, and out-of-this world battery life. The Lithium battery is also removable. The software is a bit of trouble to work with using WinXP, but Sony has a quick downloadable fix. Overall this is one superb MP3 palyer. I recomend this one to everyone out there looking for style, long battery life, and great music quality. It is hard to beat.

Summary: i bought this a year ago and love it. especially now that i finally downloaded the software. it's so easy to use. the software is also vista compatible. i had to download it from the sony website. i was able to upload all of my music except the ones i got on iTunes. go figure... the sound is great and i adore screen saver w/ the bubbles. it clip on to any thing. i really wanted the pink one but the girl @ best buy tried to tell me sony didn't make it in pink.but whatever. long story short im glad i got this player.
