"great value and function with drawbacks" on by reyn3000
Pros: great value
Cons: 1. Does not support subscription services (DMR). 2. crappy earphones
Summary: I got this play for under 50 bucks. A great value for a 1 gig flash player. Quick uploads and good sound quality (this player even offers an equalizer with several presets). Battery life has been good so far using the AAA battery included. Now to the drawbacks, this player does not support subscription services using (DMR or is that DRM?). If this is important to you (and it is turning out to be for me) then this player is not for you. The head phones were not the ones pictured, rather cheap looking black ear plugs that don’t sound all that great. Lastly the two piece design (the battery pack separates from the flash player for loading) is hard to separate, but I suspect that will lessen with wear.

"Superb 8 out 10" on by cuervo0378
Pros: 500 Songs, battery life, Integrated Features, Weight and Size
Cons: Software not compatible w/ Win98 SE
Summary: I used to own a Muvo 128 Mb just like it. Now this one cost about the same price and has more storage and features. Real easy to use just like the other one and sounds great. The software is not compatible with Win98 SE and the earphones are uncomfortable, I have yet to learn how to import lyrics into it. But if you can overlook that stuff I think you will like this little player.

"this player is great!" on by tosandrew
Pros: good sound, good battery life especialy on energizer, good button layout, can be used as mass stroage device
Cons: bad microphone sound, battery cover kinda shoddy, and comes with uncomfortable earbuds.
Summary: well i think this is a good player for people who have a music library and workes great with limewire. but the transfer speed is slow. better than a nano because the 2GB nano holds 500 songs and costs over $100. but this holds 500 songs and costs only 50-70 dollars. and theres no confusing software or docking crap with it. only an easy to install software CD( i wouldnt recommend the software thats not from creative to be used. put the songs in your windows media player (11 reccomended) and just drag and drop), bad earbuds, a battery, the player, and a manual and warranty reminder.

i meant this player holds 1000 songs! that other review i did was for the 1GB model! -
"Good value if you catch a sale" on by yasinghMD
Pros: Good sound - retains memory of last position - battery life
Cons: No radio - USB1?
Summary: I have the 1GB version. Compared to Ultra Hydra (1GB) find that Creative MUVO retains memory of where you were last time - even when you remove the battery. This is a great feature when you want to stop in the middle of an hour long lecture or a symphony etc. Also I found that the battery continues to discharge slowly in the Hydra. My solution - reverse the battery when not in use. But this is not acceptable as the MUVO does not eat battery when not in use. But Muvo has no radio. Both 1GB units are USB1 - I am not sure if 2GB is USB2. Cnet did not compare the two but Hydra is the one that fits this category.
