Kodak EasyShare C340

"a good buy for new users" on by tfortx
Pros: If you want something under $200 that will produce good quality prints as well as good web images, this is a safe choice. It's exceptionally easy to use and the manual is excellent.
Cons: It's a real battery-drainer and it only comes with 16MB internal memory.
Summary: This camera does exactly what Kodak claims, so I'm very pleased with my purchase. However, if you're hoping for something more (more battery life, professional quality prints, more memory), then you should spend the extra money and buy a better camera.
The biggest surprise is that there's been very little of the blurring that I'm use to from other digital cameras. I have a toddler and an infant, and C340 is able to capture action shots of these two tornadoes with little problem. -

"Power Starved Camera" on by Princeraj
Pros: Ease of Use
Cons: Batteries Wont Last
Summary: Only advisable battery is CRV3, but it costs $10 each, this bad camera is power hungry and will not take rechargeable or regular AA batteris, no use. Go for Canon or some better camera.

"A good camera for a starter, but not an expert who needs topline performance and higher quality" on by digitaldevicedude
Pros: Simple, beginner friendly, picture quality, and some other features acceptable.
Cons: Not an advanced camera
Summary: Now im good with tech, but me and my family are not big camera users. If you are, and need the best of the best, then this is not your kind of camera. Though Its not a bad one, its just for ordinary users.

"Very frustrating and unreliable" on by Reggieiv
Pros: Small, light, easy to use when it works. Good quality pictures.
Cons: Uses up batteries like crazy, and it won't always turn on.
Summary: I bought this camera as a Christmas present for my wife, and we liked it at first, but it went through batteries at an unusually fast rate. Then, a few months after we bought it, it started being finicky about turning on. The green light would flash once or twice and then the red light would come on (meaning the camera is not on.) This particular characteristic has gotten worse. It is a lot to pay for something that does not work. Kodak used to be famous for quality, so this is particularly disappointing.
