Panasonic's new line of SD Audio Players balances the latest in technology "must-haves" with high fashion. The SV-SD05 wearable SD Audio Player headphones-weighing only 3.2 ounces without batteries-is the latest in wearable technology. The player's buttons are large enough to allow the listener to easily control all the unit's main features. An LCD display shows track number and play list number for easy use. The player folds into a compact size making it easy to take it with you wherever you go. For a wide range of music entertainment, the new SDMI-compliant SD audio player features dual built-in decoders. The primary compression system is AAC coding (Advanced Audio Coding), which speeds download time without sacrificing sound quality. The unit also has an MP3 decoder allowing easy access to the vast amount of content available in this format. The e-wear headphone SD audio player features play/stop, skip/search keys on one side of the unit while power, volume control and EQ keys are on the other side for easy operation. Other highlights include random play and repeat play, and XBS that provides added bass response to the music being played. And as the player doesn't contain any moving parts, the music will play flawlessly without skipping a beat. Six hours of playtime are provided on one AAA alkaline battery. The SV-SD05 includes one AAA NiMH rechargeable battery along with a charger allowing up to 5 hours of playback on a full charge. The SV-SD05 also includes a CD-ROM with the Real Networks "Real Jukebox" software which is widely regarded as the best jukebox software available. With this included software, users can record (rip) their favorite songs from their personal audio CDs or access a wide selection of content from the web. The Real Jukebox allows the consumer to create playlists that can be transferred to the SD Memory Card via the included USB Reader/Writer that connects to the PC's USB port. The included 64MB SD Memory card will hold over an hour of CD quality music in High Fidelity mode, up to 86 minutes in Standard Play mode and up to 129 minutes in Long Play mode. Once the music has been transferred to the SD Memory card, just pop the card into the e-wear player and enjoy great sounding, skip-free music wherever you go.
