The show will present the first chance to see many 2008 models, and we're looking forward to updated versions of the Ford Escape and the Saturn Vue, as well as soft-top variations of the Chrysler Sebring, and also the new Audi TT. Crossover SUVs continue to be a red-hot segment, and the LA show will feature no fewer than three new models in the shape of the GMC Acadia, the Volkswagen Tiguan, and the Buick Enclave. The show will also see variations on the themes of familiar models as Nissan unveils its 2007 Sentra SE-R and Altima hybrid, BMW gives a U.S. debut to its Hydrogen 7, and Aston Martin introduces its V-8 Vantage convertible.
Other highlights will include a big announcement from the major German automakers on next-generation diesel engines, and a cavalcade of creative concepts for the LA Auto Show Design Challenge.
