Think a new LCD monitor is too expensive for your meager means? Though this may have held true in the past, it may not be true anymore. We've rounded up a few 17-inch LCDs that we found for less than $250. And just because these displays won't break your bank doesn't mean you're scraping the bottom of the bargain bin when it comes to quality--they all scored an editors' rating of 6.0 or better. Two hundred fifty dollars may still seems like a lot to spend on a monitor, but keep in mind it'll likely outlast your computer, and upgrading to an LCD will save you some eyestrain and desk space.
