DVD burners for your cubicle

Your cube is getting a little cushier, and you have a new DVD burner. Besides watching the odd movie (not on company time, of course!), you can do a lot with a DVD burner: back up important data and files in just minutes; create and record multimedia presentations that can be easily distributed; or just throw some files on a disc for you or someone else to take home. And don't forget playback capabilities, too. Offices can get noisy, and since you don't have a door to shut, you can pop in a CD and block out the bedlam. Just don't forget your headphones.

Review summary	The TS-H552B offers merely decent DL performance, but its speedy scores with single-layer media could attract those seeking a well-rounded DL drive.	This Plextor is a fast and versatile internal drive supporting single/dual-layer DVD media--one of the best on the market today.	The Sony DRU-800A is an overall decent performer in a small package.	For fast ripping and burning at a reasonable price, the Iomega Super DVD Writer 16X16 is hard to beat.	The Asus DRW-1608P is a steal: good overall performance at a low price.
