Can I get a refill? The Real Rhapsody
![]() James Kim, senior editor | In response to the success of iTunes and the significance of Napster To Go, Real Networks has launched a revamped version of Rhapsody that incorporates many of its competitors' features. The biggest change is a Napster To Go-like subscription service that will allow users to transfer any number of 1 million-plus songs from Rhapsody's catalog to a compatible device. Rhapsody 25 is the free iTunes-like streaming audio jukebox software with 320Kbps MP3 encoding, 25 free streaming radio stations, and 25 free track streams per month. Rhapsody Unlimited is a $10-per-month subscription service with unlimited downloads and streams; it also has innovative community features such as playlist sharing and Instant Playlist, which automatically creates a playlist based on your preferences and usage history. For $15 a month, you can untether your downloads and transfer them to compatible devices in the new Rhapsody To Go subscription service. So which devices will be compatible with the service? Here's a partial list; you'll notice that some devices work with both Rhapsody and Napster To Go. Side note: Real Music Store downloads are again compatible with the iPod.

| Review summary | As did the phased-out H120, the H320 will attract those who value features as well as superior audio playback and recording quality over style. | As iRiver's first 5GB entry, the H10 includes nearly every coveted feature, but navigating the player controls can frustrate some users. | Gateway's latest digital audio player offers solid audio playback along with some nifty features for photo buffs on the go, but check out others in its class before you buy. | If you want the most stylish PMC, look no further than the YH-999; if you need a battery that goes the distance, try elsewhere. | The colorful and versatile Creative Zen Micro will make lots of users happy. |
