A phone for every outfit: cell phones with changeable covers |

Though cell phones come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, they don't come in very many colors. Silver and black are the norm, and while we may see some variation with mobiles such as the Sanyo VI-2300, once you buy a handset, you're usually stuck with whatever shade you purchased. But for the über-fashion-conscious who believe in matching every accessory with their outfit, there are cell phones that come with changeable covers. If you're in the mood for a different color scheme, you simply pop off the faceplate and replace it with one of another hue. The new Sanyo MM-8300 for Sprint not only comes in three different colors, you can also offset the look with a tinted accent cover. The Nokia 3220 for T-Mobile lets you design your own covers, and you can ornament the GSM Motorola V600 with a sparkling Swarovski crystal faceplate. Finally, even a rugged phone such as Sprint's Sanyo MM-7400 can be customized. More resources

| Review summary | The Sanyo MM-8300 is an impressive phone that boasts solid call quality and entertaining multimedia features; we just wish it had Bluetooth and a better battery. | Although the 3220 includes a VGA camera and a speakerphone, this handset will appeal mostly to those looking for an attractive but fairly basic cell phone. | The Motorola V600 has enough business-centric features and style options to satisfy the needs of most pros on the road. | Packed with multimedia features, this Ready Link-capable handset proves handy for both business and personal use. |
