Samsung stepped up to the competition late last year with its version of the Motorola Razr, the Samsung MM-A900. Since then, Samsung has been churning out phone after phone, and we here at CNET have finally caught up with the company's cellular offerings. First is the very recent Samsung SCH-A950, which features speedy EV-DO performance, as well as access to V Cast videos and Verizon's music store. It even has a unique jog dial on the front for music playback. Next is the Samsung SGH-D357, which is one of the first phones to feature Cingular's push-to-talk service that was launched early this year. Then there's the Samsung SGH-ZX10, which won the Best of CES in the cell phones category, as it is the first UMTS phone in North America. Plus, it has a 1.3-megapixel camera with a rotating lens, Bluetooth, and more. Finally, there's the strikingly slim slider, the SGH-T809, one of T-Mobile's best offerings from Samsung. It also comes with a megapixel camera and an MP3 player. More resources

| Review summary | The Samsung SCH-A950 is an attractive 3G cell phone with decent features, but some annoying restrictions remain. | Although its design could use some tweaks and call volume is low, the Samsung SGH-D357 is a quality push-to-talk cell phone for Cingular customers. | The feature-rich Samsung SGH-ZX10 combines an unassuming design with the latest technology in Cingular's first 3G UMTS cell phone. | It could use some design refinements, and its performance wasn't quite up to par, but the Samsung SGH-T809 is nonetheless a stylish and feature-packed cell phone. |
