October 25, 2005 Although plasma prices are falling rapidly, big-screen rear-projection HDTVs still represent the best value for people who want as much screen real estate for as little cash as possible. And among the myriad rear-projection technologies, LCD is emerging as the entry-level choice for companies that offer both LCD and DLP. In other words, the TVs below are among the least-expensive big-screen HDTVs you'll find for 2005, and all of them offer at least 50 inches of screen and all the HDTV fixin's.
