	James Kim Senior editor	While Apple certainly didn't invent the photo-friendly MP3 player, it seems the trendsetting company has increased the public's awareness of them with the iPod Photo. Now all the big guns are going with color screens--and why not? Digital photos are easy, free, and personal, and trust us, after a week using an MP3 player with a color interface, you'll never want to go back to monochrome. Granted, most are not ideal as photo viewers, thanks to small screen sizes, but most models allow you to transfer pics from your camera to your MP3 player out of the box. They also come in all shapes and sizes, from the 60GB iPod Photo to Samsung's flash-based YP-T7M.

Review summary	The iPod Photo is a beautiful and versatile device with a new, affordable price. The 30GB version is a particularly good value at only $50 more than the audio-only 20GB version.	The H10 includes nearly every coveted feature, but navigating the player controls can be frustrating.	Digital photo display and subscription-based music support are cool features, but the Gateway MP3 Photo Jukebox's performance leaves much to be desired.	CNET editor's take	The great-sounding Cowon iAudio X5 looks like an iPod killer on paper, but this palm-size music and video player suffers from mediocre music browsing and some key design missteps.	We'd like to see a few improvements to the Samsung YEPP YP-T7, but it should be a top choice for those who want an MP3 player with tons of features.
