At CES 2006, we saw a demo of WMP 11, which boasts a cleaner and more logical design as well as snappier performance. Check out screenshots from the latest build of WMP 11 for Vista. Microsoft plans to release a Windows XP version as well, probably sooner than the Vista version.

Emphasis on album art
This is the Artist view in Music. Though many of our files were without album art, you can see how locating music by sight dramatically helps navigation. Album art can be resized to your liking. The pull-down gives you the option to hide the playlist or navigation windows to get a full-screen view of your music.
