Czech security vendor Grisoft offers AVG Anti-Virus 7.1 Free Edition and a paid version, AVG Anti-Virus 7.1 Professional Single Edition. Both are solid, albeit with a few caveats.

Rescue…floppy?
Both versions of AVG Anti-Virus allow you to create a rescue disk, should anything go wrong with your PC in a virus attack. However, AVG creates only a rescue floppy, not a CD, and that's bad news if you're using one of today's floppy-free PCs.
