Toshiba's new Flat Panel TV lineup clearly addresses the growing, yet varied demand for thin TVs. While priding itself on fine picture quality, Toshiba's expanded flat panel line reveals a new focus on superior design quality. The 20VL43U model may sit on a table, or be mounted on a wall. It showcases a stunning modern look and when hung on the wall resembles a piece of fine art. The unique space-saving tilt-panel design provides 160-degree viewing angles. Toshiba's flat panel TV sound quality is also strong. The SRS WOW Sound Enhancement Technology combines SRS 3D (creates a wide three-dimensional sound field), TruBass (boosts bass frequency perception for more dramatic low frequency effects), and Focus (raises the sound image vertically to create clearer voices), which enhances the Home Theater experience. Convenience features include a new HD Window Multiscan POP, and an Illuminated A/V universal remote control. Off/Sleep Timer allows the viewer to set the television to shut off after a preset amount of time. Screen Inversion Capability enables the panel to be mounted upside down when conditions dictate.
