The engine in the 750Li is BMW's direct-injection 4.4-liter V-8 with forced induction from two twin-scroll turbochargers, one for each bank of cylinders. BMW also offers the 740i, with a 3-liter straight-six, and the 760i, powered by a 6-liter V-12.
