Automatic Smart Driving Assistant
Price: $70Availability: May 2013
The outlook: We've seen driving and fuel economy monitors before, but the Automatic represents a massive simplification of the technology to almost a Fitbit level of user friendliness. Just plug, pair, and go -- the smartphone app takes care of all monitoring via Bluetooth. There's also an OnStar-like emergency crash/911 assist with no monthly fee. I can't wait to get one in for long-term review.
