Block Fortress

This one is Minecraft-meets-tower-defense-meets-first-person-shooter in what may be the perfect 8-bit gaming hybrid. For Minecraft novices, it does have a bit of a learning curve and the controls are less than optimal. But once you get into the game, it's hard to stop playing.
