Slimmer LCD rear-projection sets

Sony also announced a new line of 1080p resolution LCD-based rear-projection HDTVs, which have slimmer cabinets than other RPTVs. The KDF-50E3000 (July, price not announced) for example, with a 50-inch screen, measures just 12.6 inches deep.
