Panasonic Viera TC-P50X1
Last year on my recommendation, dad bought the 42-inch Panasonic TH-42PX80. Recently he told me "I love it, but I wish I'd bought the 50-incher." This year's version has some faint lines I knocked in my review, but if I didn't mention them, he wouldn't notice. And even if I did, he probably wouldn't care.
