Dear CNET members,
I'm sitting here in front of the Apple store, in line, writing this newsletter to you, waiting for my chance to get my hand on the iPhone this coming Friday. Not! Yeah, sure it would be nice to have one, but maybe another day for me. But I know some folks are already lined up right this minute, waiting for the iPhone to be released. The iPhone is probably one of the most anticipated consumer electronic gadgets to date. I mean, six whole months of media attention, hype, praises and bashes, speculation and expectation; you name it and it's been done! Well, this Friday is the moment of truth, folks, when the iPhone lands in the hands of the public for the real-world test. And as much as I really don't care if I ever hear or read another column, blog, or ad on the iPhone, I personally sure as heck want to have a phone in my hand to check out so I can finally judge it for myself! So one last time before it all unfolds--come clean with us and tell us honestly, will you buy an iPhone? Why or why not?
