Rocking stereo Bluetooth headsets

Almost any cell phone with a music player has stereo Bluetooth these days (yes, even the iPhone, thanks to the latest OS 3.0 update), so it's no surprise that stereo Bluetooth headsets are hot accessories right now. These headsets let you listen to your tunes without any wires by streaming your music directly to the headset. Here are a few of our recent stereo headset reviews.

The most common reason to go without wires is if you're using your headphones for working out. The Motorola Rokr S9 HD is certainly meant for that, though we think it could use some refinements. The Rokr S7 HD, also from Motorola, doesn't have such a good design, but it does have great audio quality. Our favorite stereo headset by far, however, is the Samsung SBH-600, with its padded ear pads and high-quality sound. Sony Ericsson is no stranger to stereo headsets either, with the solid-sounding Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800. For a different style, we also really like the Jabra BT3030 dogtag-style Bluetooth headset. You can attach any 3.5 millimeter headphones into it, which just about guarantees great audio quality. Another Jabra headset is the Jabra Halo, which is very slim and stylish, and it can be folded into a more compact design. Though we like its style, we can't say we like the fit or the sound quality.

Bottom line
The Motorola Rokr S9 HD is a simple and lightweight stereo Bluetooth headset, but take caution when using it for an active lifestyle.
The solid-sounding Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800 Wireless Stereo Headphones are an excellent option for anyone looking for the very smallest Bluetooth headset money can buy to use with an A2DP-compatible music phone or MP3 player.
The Jabra BT3030 is a great, affordable option for a stereo Bluetooth headset, if you want to use your own headphones.
The Jabra Halo is an attractive stereo Bluetooth headset, but that's about all we can say for it.
