Bluetooth speakerphones for hands-free calls

A Bluetooth headset isn't the only way for you to chat on your cell phone hands-free when on the road. Another option is to use a Bluetooth speakerphone, which can be easily fitted over your car's sun visor and can even be transferred from vehicle to vehicle if you have more than one car. BlueAnt is one of our favorite speakerphone manufacturers, and has two that we like: the BlueAnt Supertooth 3 and the BlueAnt S1. The BlueAnt Supertooth 3 responds to voice commands, and it can sync with your phone book so that it can read out incoming caller ID to you. The lower-end BlueAnt S1 also responds to voice command, and even though it won't read out caller ID, it does have multipoint connectivity, which lets you connect to two devices at once, plus A2DP stereo Bluetooth compatibility. If you're going to be driving around in sunny weather, why not charge your Bluetooth speakerphone at the same time? The LG HFB-500 Bluetooth Solar Car Kit lets you do just that. We also like the Tritton AX Visor, which has a nice OLED display for showing caller ID, plus it even has two microphone modes, one for in-car use, and another for use as a desktop speakerphone. For a cheaper model, the Jabra SP200 is a basic speakerphone with decent sound quality.
