Though cell phones come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, few handsets are so unique that they stand out from the mobile crowd instantly. But every once in a while, a new cell phone struts onto the catwalk with design elements that truly are unique. The Motorola Krave ZN4 for Verizon Wireless looks a little like a Star Trek communicator. Flip open the cover to expose an easy-to-use touch screen, or leave the cover down to use it as a second touch surface. T-Mobile's RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8220 is the first BlackBerry to offer a flip design. Inside, you'll find all the usual BlackBerry goodness. The Verizon Wireless Blitz is one of a few square phones around. The slider handset hides a full alphabetic keyboard. Finally, there's Sprint's Samsung Highnote. Its slider design is relatively ordinary at first glance, but a closer look will show unique navigation controls with a scroll wheel.
