So you've managed to get your hands on one of the world's most popular MP3 players, the Apple iPod Shuffle. Accessorizing the littlest of iPods presents a special challenge because it doesn't share the same dock connector as its larger siblings. But that doesn't mean it should be left out in the cold, sad and caseless. All of the accessories included here will work perfectly with the second-, third-, and fourth-generation Shuffles.
If you already own a dock or speaker system with Apple's standard 30-pin connection, you're not totally out of luck: Griffin's Dock Adapter snaps right in and makes a perfect new home for the Shuffle. For a supertiny, on-the-go syncing and charging solution, consider the Monster iSlimCharger. To rock out loud, consider the Creative TravelSound i50, a nifty (and tiny) speaker made especially for the Shuffle. Another option is the Altec Lansing iM207 Orbit speaker (not shown), which can be plugged into any 3.5mm jack. If you want a more sturdy, wearable solution than the built-in belt-clip, Both DLO and Griffin make handy armbands. The DLO Action Jacket featured here offers more protection, while the Griffin Arm Pack offers more style. Finally, for those who prefer to kill two birds with one stone, check out the Monster iFreePlay: headphones that strap the Shuffle to your head. It's a bit dorky, but it will eliminate those pesky wires from your listening setup.
