If you're reading this, chances are you've owned at least one MP3 player in your lifetime, and anyone who has used a portable audio player knows that the earbuds that come packaged with these devices are--for the most part--far from impressive in terms of fit and sound quality. Even those who can tolerate the often thin and flat audio will readily admit that stock earbuds are severely lacking in the bass department. Find me an MP3 player owner, and I'll show you someone who's begging for boomier bass. The good news is that finding a set of earphones that deliver plenty of oomph on the low-end isn't terribly difficult, but to make things even easier for you, I've rounded up a selection of earbuds in every price range that are guaranteed to answer your cry for "more cowbell!" Er, I mean bass.

| The Bottom Line |
V-Moda's Bass Freq earphones are the perfect accessory for bass-loving Creative Zen Micro owners who are on a budget. If you prefer less low end, look elsewhere.
The Radius Atomic Bass earphones are a good choice for bass-addicts with an eye for style and a concern for budget.
These may not be the best earbuds for audio purists, but the Maximo iM-490S iMetal Isolation Earphones should please bass addicts after inexpensive sound isolation.
The V-moda Vibe headphones are a great option for style-conscious bass-addicts looking for some worthy portable headphones.
Monster's Turbine in-ear headphone looks, feels, and sounds like a much more expensive model.
Bass addicts with a desire to maintain an articulate high end in their music will enjoy the quality Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 EB in-ear set, while purists who prefer flat EQ should steer clear.
