Round 3: Features

Real beauty is on the inside.
LG Voyager - VX10000 (Verizon Wireless)
LG Voyager

What do these phones offer under the hood? Here, we examine the features in each device and rate which phone offers more.

Player Kent Bonnie Nicole Total
Apple iPhone - 4GB (AT&T)
Apple iPhone
3

The iPhone has a top-notch music and video player, its POP3 e-mail client is user-friendly, and the Wi-Fi-enabled Safari Web browser and Google Maps support are cool. But without 3G, stereo Bluetooth, and even basic cell phone features such as multimedia messaging, the iPhone doesn't offer everything it should for the price that you pay.
3

The Safari Web browser may be lovely, and yes, there's Wi-Fi. But the lack of 3G support and Bluetooth is really disappointing and can't compare to the Voyager's offering.
3

Sure, the iPhone is a great music and video player, it has Wi-Fi, and a very nice browser, but it is seriously lacking in some key features--especially 3G, multimedia messaging, and stereo Bluetooth.

LG Voyager - VX10000 (Verizon Wireless)
LG Voyager
4

Sure, it lacks Wi-Fi, but the Voyager has just about everything you'd want in a cell phone, including a few features the iPhone lacks. It offers 3G, stereo Bluetooth, multimedia messaging, integrated GPS, video recording, and voice dialing. The V Cast Mobile TV and wireless music downloads are also nifty. That's why it wins this round.
4

The LG Voyager gets the edge in this round with its EV-DO, Bluetooth, and GPS.
5

The LG Voyager blows the iPhone out of the water, not only with its music and video support, but also GPS, EV-DO, stereo Bluetooth, and access to streaming video and over-the-air music downloads.
