The Touch Diamond's media player isn't bad, but it can't measure up to its counterpart on the iPhone. Likewise, music and video quality wasn't as slick either.

The Touch Diamond has a good array of multimedia capabilities, and HTC even throws in a couple of extra utilities. However, as far as performance, music and video playback just wasn't as smooth or rich as the iPhone's.

I actually quite enjoyed the video and music quality on the Touch Diamond. Video looked crisp, and the sound wasn't too bad either.

As the company that created the iPod and iPod video, I suppose I really shouldn't be surprised that the iPhone handles music and video so well. The iPhone is probably the first device I'd use as both my cell phone and MP3 player.

The iPhone, however, simply delivers when it comes to the video and music. Video looks great on such a large landscape display, though music was on par with the Diamond.
