LG Dare (Verizon Wireless) |
3 All the fake chrome on the Dare makes it feel a bit cheap and the user interface isn't quite as intuitive and attractive as the Instinct. It's also a bit thicker, which is never a plus. |
3 Neither phone is particularly sexy to me. The LG Dare is light and compact, but the exterior is rather boring. There's just nothing that memorable about the handset. |
4 The Dare is smaller and lighter than the Instinct, and I prefer the user interface on the Dare a lot more. However, it does feel a bit cheap. |

Samsung Instinct SPH-M800 - black (Sprint) |
4 The Instinct looks and feels like the poor-man's iPhone, but it's one of the best imitations I've seen. It's slim and long and has an uncluttered and fun user interface. |
4 If I had to choose though, I would say the Samsung Instinct is the more attractive of the two. The mirrored face, large touch screen, and touch-sensitive buttons are all pretty cool. |
4 To me, the Instinct is big and clunky, and I'm not a fan of the reflective-mirror finish, but I'll concede that it's slimmer and slightly sleeker than the Dare. Overall though, I give them a tie. |
