LG Dare (Verizon Wireless) |
4 Calls sounded a bit more smooth and natural on the Dare. |
3 This round was a draw for me. For the most part, the LG Dare had decent call quality but there was a bit of crackling during regular voice calls. The speakerphone also sounded somewhat hollow. |
4 I was pleased with the call quality on both phones. To me, they sounded smooth and clear, and voices sounded natural, as well. |

Samsung Instinct SPH-M800 - black (Sprint) |
4 Calls on the Instinct are crisp and clear and I was able to figure out the contact list and dialpad instantly. |
3 The call quality on the Samsung Instinct was also muddled. I heard a similar crackling sound and the speakerphone wasn't pristine. In all, I wasn't overly impressed by the call quality of either of these phones. |
