LG Dare (Verizon Wireless) |
3 The Dare and Instinct have comparable features on paper, but the implementation isn't so hot on the Dare. For instance, photo- and video-capture quality seemed marginally better on the Dare, but the confusing camera-menu icons slowed me down. |
4 The LG Dare and Samsung Instinct share many of the same features, but the Dare takes this round with its EV-DO Rev. A support and 3.2 megapixel camera. |
4 Both the Dare and the Instinct have GPS, EV-DO, and a full HTML browser. However, the Dare has a 3.2-megapixel camera that simply blows the Instinct's away, and its EV-DO Rev. A is a nice edge. |

Samsung Instinct SPH-M800 - black (Sprint) |
5 The Instinct not only has plenty of features, but they're done in a way that makes you actually want to use them. Camera, GPS, games, music, e-mail are all easy to find and easy to use. |
3 See comment above. |
4 The Instinct has something else up its sleeve--it supports Microsoft Exchange e-mail, which the Dare cannot. To me, this separates the boys from the men (so to speak), and therefore I call it an even tie. |
