Touch-screen smartphones are all the rage these days. While the Apple iPhone may get much of the glory, there are several other touch-screen beauties, including the two contestants in this prizefight: the Samsung Omnia and the HTC Touch Diamond for Sprint. Both HTC and Samsung have created their user interfaces to make the Windows Mobile operating system simpler and more consumer-friendly. Which one does it better? Let's find out!
Editors' note:
The Samsung Omnia is not yet available in the United States. Since our review unit was a European model and does not support some U.S. services, including 3G, we will not count this against the Omnia in the features round. This Prizefight is more to compare the touch-screen interfaces of both smartphones.
We have also changed the scoring system of our prizefights. Rather than adding up all the points for a cumulative score at the end of each round, we will now average the three scores. In the case of decimal points, we will round up. The final winner is now determined by which device won the most rounds.
