Designed to offer discriminating consumers the stunning sound quality of DVD-Audio and the high performance excitement of THX. The DPS-7.2 offers just that, THX Ultra certification and DVD-Audio decoding along with proven audio/video component design and Integra build quality. The new DPS-7.2 also packs a litany of attractive enhancements, including an unusually quick and responsive transport, 54MHz/10 bit video D/A conversion, MP3 and CD-R/RW playback, 192kHz/24 bit audio DACs, with the capability to digitally upscale conventional 44.1 or 48Khz signals to 96kHz for improved dynamics and resolution, a 96kHz/48 bit selectable digital output, and two nice audiophile touches for those whose priority is music: a vidoe circuit OFF mode and Bass Mangement for complete system control during DVD-Audio playback. For user-friendly control, the DPS-7.2 features a front panel joystick-like button to make navigating the player's menu much easier.
