Enhancing DVD's crisp, 3-dimensional picture with the precision and power of digital surround sound is easy: Just connect the DV-C503's optical or coaxial digital output to a compatible A/V receiver with Dolby Digital/DTS decoding. To ensure that you'll hear the subtlest surround sound nuances, Onkyo's Direct Digital Path design provides a shorter, cleaner path for the digital audio signal as it's read off the disc, avoiding potential noise from nearby microprocessors and power supplies.
