The Toshiba 27AF42 is a 27-inch color television featuring a full spectrum of advanced functions. Its 27" FST PURE flat tube eliminates unwanted reflections from room light compared to conventional tubes designs and increases viewing angle. The Invar Shadow Mask enhances color reproduction thanks to its nickel-alloy construction, which is more heat resistant than conventional iron masks. The 3-line digital comb filter with vertical contour correction provides more accurate processing of RF and composite video signals for a sharper, cleaner picture. The dynamic quadruple focus produces clear legible text and graphics around the outside of the screen thanks to improved edge and corner focus. MTS Stereo with dbx provides full broadcast stereo sound quality with access to bi-lingual or secondary audio signals. The tri-lingual OSD allows for easy operation for English, Spanish, and French speaking viewers. The Colorstream Component Video input provides the ultimate picture quality from interlaced component video signals. The front panel A/V input allows for easy connection of video games or a camcorder.
