Sharp addresses the growing consumer demand for large-screen high-definition flat-panel LCD TVs with the SH20U series of Widescreen Liquid Crystal HDTVs. With the SH20U series, Sharp provides consumers with additional big-screen options that are perfect for a TV room or dedicated home theater setting, at moderate price points. The SH20U series further strengthens Sharp's offering of large-screen LCD models, helping more consumers create a home theater experience. The SH20U series features a true 16: 9 resolution of 1366 x 768, built-in ATSC/QAM/NTSC tuners and HDMI and HD component terminals for the remarkable experience of HDTV programming combined with simple and versatile connectivity options. The SH20U series features a high contrast ratio of 800: 1 for rich black tones and crisp on-screen images, and a pixel response time of less than 12 ms for excellent picture quality even on fast-moving action scenes. These models feature wide viewing angles (170 degrees) so they can be viewed clearly from almost any seat in a room, and high brightness levels for clear, vibrant pictures and true-to-life color clarity in any lighting conditions.
