Experience cinematic surround sound - right in your own home. The Gateway Home Theater KAS-303 delivers the most powerful and dynamic audio experience. Featuring 600 watts in the DVD player and in the subwoofer (400 watts peak), the KAS-303 produces a full audio spectrum, including a tremendous deep-bass response. From movies to music, the surround sound quality is rich and realistic. The system includes a progressive-scan DVD player, receiver, five satellite and one-channel speakers and a subwoofer. Easy to set up and use, it's an essential addition to any entertainment system. This audio system is designed to handle multichannel sound and reproduce it in its purist form. The receiver decodes all of Hollywood's latest 6.1 channel sound formats, including DTS-ES Discrete and Matrix, DTS Neo-6 and Dolby Digital EX, and the high-efficiency amplifier High-performance speakers: The subwoofer features advanced technology by Hsu Research and produces a deep bass. The center channel speakers are built with Ventriloquist technology that reproduces excellent mid-bass to ensure a full spectrum of sound. The progressive-scan DVD player supports multiple DVD and CD formats, and the included 8-unit remote control can also operate most electronic equipment.
