I have a 20GB iPod and was wondering if I could save pictures on it. That would beat buying more CompactFlash cards.

You can download photos from your camera to your iPod with Belkin's iPod Media Reader or Digital Camera Link. That would be a very economical and portable solution to your photo storage problem.
