Q
When I visit some Web sites, the site runs off the edge of the screen, and I have to scroll to see it all (annoying!). Is there any way to stop this?

You'll need to change your operating system's screen resolution to a higher pixel setting.

In Windows:

  1. Right-click your desktop.
  2. Left-click Properties.
  3. Select the Settings tab.
  4. Use the slider bar to increase the screen resolution--say, from 800x600 pixels to 1,024x768.
In Mac OS X:

  1. Open System Preferences.
  2. Open Displays Panel.
  3. Click the Display tab to select your desired screen resolution.
Overall, increasing your screen resolution will make your text and images smaller. Also, some older monitors may not be capable of displaying more than 800x600 pixels.
