Are there any color laser printers out there that will deliver photo-quality prints adequate for a small photo studio?

Sorry, but color lasers aren't built for photo buffs. Inkjet printers, on the other hand, have made incredible advancements in a handful of years, so pick one to fill up your professional studio dossier or home photo album.
If you only need to print pictures for business or throwaway purposes--such as the listing of a house for sale, a flyer for a lost dog, or an in-house office presentation--then a color laser should suit you. These expert text machines have sharpened their graphics talents, notably the Dell 3100cn. And the Konica Minolta Magicolor 2430 DL even sports a PictBridge port so that you can plug in a digital camera and print your shots on the spot.
