Q
My son is having problems with telemarketers and spammers calling his cell phone. Of course, this uses up his cell minutes, costing him money. Is there anything special he can do about these calls?

Your first step is to register your son's number with the FCC's Do-Not-Call Registry. Once your number is on the list, telemarketers are not allowed to call you unless you have a prior relationship with them. If they persist, you can try filing a complaint with the FCC. Of course, I also would suggest simply not answering the phone if he doesn't recognize the phone number of the caller.
