Regular phones vs. VoIP
Round 5: Flexibility
Have adapter, will travel

Aside from the wealth of features it provides, VoIP is portable. If you take your VoIP telephone adapter with you, it's like you never left home--at least to outside callers. Take off to your (Internet-ready) summer home, a broadband-equipped hotel room, or your winter cabin for a month, plug your VoIP adapter into the network connection there, and you'll receive any and all calls that go to your VoIP phone number.
And if you are home a lot during the day, you'll never find yourself waiting until evening when the rates drop to make a call with VoIP. With an unlimited minutes plan, you'll never again feel guilty after those three-hour calls to your sister made in the middle of the day.
Winner: VoIP
