Quick tips for Battlefield 2
  • The last person who deals damage to a vehicle before it explodes will get kill credit for everyone in the vehicle, no matter how each one dies. If you see a tank lining up a shot on an enemy helicopter, or if you see a transport chopper about to fly into a mountain, try unloading your pistol or rifle into it. You may wind up with a bunch of cheap kills that you don't deserve!

Watch the video to learn how to use C4 explosives in interesting ways.

  • Don't forget that you can quickly change kits by walking over a dead soldier's kit and pressing the G key (by default). This is especially helpful when there are dead medics around you; if you kill an enemy medic in a firefight, you can grab his kit and use it to heal yourself before switching back to your original kit. Or, if one of your friendly medics gets killed, you can pick up the kit and use it to revive him.

  • If you're playing as a Spec Ops soldier, you can increase the efficacy of a C4 by attaching it to small vehicles, such as an FAAV or a Hummer, then driving the car into an enemy tank or command structure before blowing up the C4. If you get into the car while holding the detonator, you can ditch a car and detonate your explosives in a manner of seconds. The extra explosive power from the car will let you deal more damage than you would have with just the C4.

  • The commander's supply-drop function can be used for more than just healing and resupplying ammo. It can also be used to repair damaged equipment. If a Spec Ops enemy destroys your artillery, for instance, zoom in on it and drop a supply box onto it. It'll eventually repair automatically. This does take a while, though, so engineers are still your best bet.
