Nice work, Jim. Supertidy LCD installation, and the PC isn't bad--but let's bolt that thing down and vacuum out the blades of grass around it! I'm particularly pleased with your sense of OEM-quality aesthetics when you set up the display color scheme to match your car's stock instrument lighting. Tasty.
Jim's car represents a watershed moment in American car-buff history: For the first time, a number of us are leaving the exterior and power trains of our cars dead stock and expressing ourselves via dashboard tech. Part of that springs from the fact that cars are almost unmoddable now, with all their proprietary and digital systems. But the other part of the story is that the most exciting things you can do with a car involve installing a computer, which allows for a multitude of functions.
