As a Mac user, I was disappointed to be left in the dark by Toshiba. But if I did have an XP machine, I'd take serious advantage of its subscription compatibility services.

It works with what I use for music: a Windows XP machine and subscription WMA music services. Now, if only I had a Media Center PC.

It's Windows XP only, but if you have a Media Center PC, you can feed the Gigabeat beast with fresh video content, plus subscription and Vongo (but no native DivX and OGG, as expected prelaunch).

With the iTunes library growing every day, what else is there to say other than Desperate Housewives!!!

Nice that it works with both Mac and PC, but I've had quite enough of the iTunes goliath, thank you very much.

No subscription but lots of audio and video content nevertheless. The iPod does play lossless, Audible, and uncompressed files.
