The BlackBerry 8800's pearl trackball simply isn't a match for the BlackJack's simple navigation array. |

This round is a draw for me. I'm very picky when it comes to my QWERTY keyboards, and the BlackJack's design is easier for me to use. I appreciate the clear spacing between he individual keys and the black-and-gray color scheme. On the other hand, the navigation toggle was too slippery. |

There are features that I like and dislike on both of these smart phones, so this round is pretty much a draw. While you don't get the easy, four-way scrolling on the BlackJack, I do prefer its spacious QWERTY keyboard. |

While I preferred the QWERTY keyboard on the BlackBerry, I simply could not get over the trackball and how finicky it was to use. |

I had the opposite experience with the BlackBerry 8800--I love the navigation controls but the keyboard is harder to use. I'm a big fan of the trackball, since it lets me zip around as much as I want. The keys, however, are too crammed together. |

I like that you can easily navigate in all directions with the BlackBerry 8800's trackball, but I found the keyboard a bit slippery. |
