Team ENSCO's Dexter went more than 80 miles of the 132-mile course but didn't finish, due to a flat tire. This custom-designed desert racer uses radar, lidar, stereo vision cameras, GPS, and an inertial measurement unit. Of its seven computers, five are used to process sensor data, and two handle the vehicle's controls.
